Regional Agriculture Landcare Facilitator – Northern and Yorke

Ag Excellence Alliance hosts the Regional Agricultural Landcare Facilitator (RALF) for the Northern and Yorke region. There is a RALF located in the 56 NRM regions around Australia as an integral component of the National Landcare Program. The NY RALF works with landholders, farming systems and landcare groups, Landscape Board and RDC's to identify and address sustainable agriculture initiatives.

Key facets of the role include:

Engage with farmers, land managers, community groups and farming systems groups to deliver agricultural outcomes that will improve sustainability, productivity and profitability
Facilitate partnerships that will best deliver agriculture outcomes, such as connecting industry, grower and community groups so that they can work together to address issues of common concern
Assisting farmers, farming groups, community groups and agricultural industries to develop new projects and seek funding, membership and resources for NRM activities
Supporting the development, promotion, delivery, and evaluation of NLP funded sustainable agriculture projects within the region
