Demi Taylor has been appointed by Ag Excellence Alliance in the newly created role of Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting and Learning (MERL) Officer for the South Australian Drought Hub.

Ag Excellence (Ag Ex) has engaged Demi Taylor in the MERL Officer role to strengthen the monitoring and evaluation of South Australian Drought Hub programs and projects at both strategic and operational levels.

Key priorities of the role include:

  • Designing and implementing SA Drought Hub-wide monitoring and evaluation frameworks

  • Supporting projects to establish clear outcomes, indicators, and targets

  • Strengthening systems for consistent data collection and reporting

  • Capturing evidence of impact across programs, partners, and regions

  • Ensuring Hub reporting aligns with Future Drought Fund requirements
