SA drought hub node coordinator – team leader sought
An exciting opportunity exists to contribute to the success of the SA Drought Hub!
The SA Drought Hub Node Coordinator- Team Leader will be a part of the South Australian Research Development Institute Division (SARDI) within the Department of Primary Industries and Regions (PIRSA).
This important role will support the outcomes of the SA Drought Hub by providing regional coordination of activities. The SA Drought Hub is a collaborative initiative led by The University of Adelaide as part of the Federal Government’s Drought Resilience Research and Adoption Program. PIRSA is a major partner in the SA Drought Hub which works in partnership with a network of major SA regional grower groups, all three SA universities, local, state and federal government agencies, advocacy groups, indigenous programs, agribusinesses, industry RD&E partners and industry organisations. A total of 59 organisations and groups are aligned to the SA Drought Hub demonstrating the broad coverage of partners and willingness to engage in our shared collaborative vision.
The SA Drought Hub will have a core site at Roseworthy with five regional nodes at Minnipa, Port Augusta, Orroroo, Loxton and Struan. The role of the Node Coordinator at each site includes liaison with a node Stakeholder Advisory Group and day-to-day interaction with partners, facilitation of the co-design of priority activities for the node and ensuring that activities are successfully delivered on-ground.
