Nominations for the 2023 Ag Institute Australia SA Student Award now open
Nominations for the “2023 Ag Institute Australia – SA Student Award” have opened to recognise a current undergraduate or postgraduate student studying in a topic related to agriculture, natural resource management and/or animal science at the University of Adelaide.
The student will show promising professional skills required for a successful career by demonstrating an area of interest from a current project, activity or area of study.
The awardee will receive a certificate, $250, and honours or masters student winners proceed onto the Ag Institute Australia AEV Richardson national student award where they receive a travel bursary to present and compete against other state finalists at a national event in July each year, competing against interstate entrants for a 1st prize of $1000 cash, and 2nd prize of $250 cash, and an article on the awardee will be published in the AIA-SA newsletter.
To be eligible applicants must be a current member of the Ag Institute Australia – SA, currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree (including Masters) related to agriculture, natural resources management and/or animal sciences, and the nomination form with two referees must be submitted by the 3rd April 2023.
The SA division of AIA (AIA-SA) values the development of the next generation of agriculture professionals and is providing a Student Award to recognise the contributions of undergraduate and postgraduate students in agriculture, natural resources and/or animal science.
