Help shape the future of farming on the Fleurieu
Farming on the Fleurieu means something different depending on who you ask. It encompasses livestock, grain, dairy and vines, along with the people, businesses and communities that support them.
Fleurieu Farming Systems (FFS) wants its Board to reflect the full diversity of agriculture across the region and is now calling for nominations from people interested in helping shape its future direction.
The FFS Board plays an important role in identifying local priorities and guiding projects that deliver practical value for farmers and the wider agricultural community.
Nominations are welcomed from across the region’s agricultural industries, including livestock, cropping, dairy and viticulture. FFS is particularly keen to strengthen its connections with the wine industry and encourages nominations from its wine-growing neighbours.
No Board experience required
Previous Board experience is not necessary. FFS is looking for people who care about agriculture, the land and the communities that depend on it.
Becoming a Board member is an opportunity to contribute your knowledge and perspective, help identify the issues that matter locally and have a say in the research, events and projects delivered across the region.
Whether you are a farmer, grower or agricultural industry representative, your experience could help ensure FFS continues to represent the breadth of farming on the Fleurieu.
