On Farm Water Infrastructure Rebate Scheme – Round 3 NOW OPEN
Round 3 (2021 - 2022)
You may be eligible for a rebate of 25% (maximum $25,000 ex GST) for the cost of purchasing and installing new on-farm water infrastructure for livestock and permanent horticulture that:
- addresses animal welfare needs during periods of drought
- assists primary producers to be more resilient for future droughts by protecting permanent horticulture assets.
The maximum rebate of $25,000 is available per business enterprise across rounds 1 to 3 of this scheme and includes previous applications to the On-Farm Emergency Water Infrastructure Rebate Scheme.
Funding Elibility
Funding is available for applicants who:
- have completed eligible water infrastructure activities
- are planning to undertake water infrastructure activities (including placing orders)
- can provide evidence of their completed or proposed activities
- meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the guidelines.
If you have completed your project, you should submit your application, including provision of supporting evidence.
If you are planning a project, you must receive funding approval from PIRSA prior to starting your project.
Eligible Activities
Eligible activities include:
- costs associated with the purchase, delivery, and labour to engage a person to install new livestock water infrastructure incurred between 1 July 2018 and 30 June 2022
- costs associated with the purchase and installation of new water infrastructure for existing permanent horticultural plantings incurred between 1 July 2019 and 30 June 2022
Closing Date
Applications close on 30 June 2022 at 5.00 pm or when funding for the round is exhausted, whichever comes first.
