There are just two days to go until the Hart Winter Walk, bringing growers, advisers and industry members together for a morning of practical research updates and paddock discussions at the Hart Field-Site.

Held on Tuesday 21 July, the Winter Walk is the first opportunity of the season to inspect Hart’s trials following seeding and hear directly from leading researchers, consultants and industry specialists.

This year’s interactive sessions will cover:

  • Pre-emergent herbicide performance across different sowing scenarios, with Chris Davey from Next Level Agronomy
  • Profit, risk and crop legacy considerations when planning rotations, with Craig Davis from Crop Consulting Services and Matthew Knowling from the University of Adelaide
  • Current pulse and cereal disease risks and management, with Hari Dadu from SARDI Pathology and Jeff Braun from The Agronomist
  • How common biases can influence on-farm decision-making, with Brendan Brown from CSIRO

Speakers will share the latest trial results and practical insights to support informed decision-making for the season ahead, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions along the way.

Thanks to event sponsor Nufarm, the Hart Winter Walk is free to attend, with morning tea provided.
