GRDC sponsorship applications now open
Sponsoring events, programs or awards can be an effective way for us to contribute to this objective by providing other means to engage with our stakeholders, share Research, Development and Extension (RD&E) outcomes, and develop industry capacity.
GRDC sponsored activities contribute to the enduring profitability of Australian grain growers in a manner consistent with our values and strategy. Sponsorship:
- delivers value for the broader Australian grains industry
- promotes innovation in grains RD&E
- value-adds or supplements existing GRDC communication or extension activities, it does not substitute them.
How to Apply
Timing
Sponsorship requests will be assessed twice per year.
Applications for the first round will be open from 15 December until 28 February. Successful applicants will be notified by 31 March.
Applications for the second round will be open from 15 June until 31 August. Successful applicants will be notified by 30 September.
Requirements
Organisers must complete and submit the GRDC Sponsorship Application form so we can assess:
- alignment with GRDC strategy
- benefit to the Australian grains industry
- scope and benefit of impact*
- value for money.
*such as opportunities to share GRDC RD&E with target audiences; facilitate or encourage practice change at a grower level; or build industry capacity.

Completed forms must be emailed to tenders@grdc.com.au with the subject line: SPONSORSHIP REQUEST: [title of event]
