Future drought fund seek expressions of interest to present at 2022 Science to Practice Forum

The SA Drought Hub advises that the next Future Drought Fund (FDF) Science to Practice Forum, previously scheduled for 22-24 February, 2022, has been rescheduled to 7-9 June, 2022.

The Forum (a hybrid virtual event to be broadcast from Canberra) will bring together farmers, researchers, practitioners, agri-businesses, governments, and consumers. It aims to connect participants to national priorities and enhance collaboration to help grow and transform Australian agriculture.

To support this, the FDF is seeking expressions of interest from stakeholders willing to showcase their knowledge, programs and activities during the Forum. Presentation material should be in keeping with the Forum’s broad themes of:

  • drought resilience: economic, environmental, and social – including mental health
  • successes and pitfalls of diverse collaboration
  • extension of science to farms and farmers.

SA Drought Hub is encouraging its partners to consider applying. Please see the application form attached for more details.

Applications are due by 11 February 2021 to FDFHubs@agriculture.gov.au.
