MacKillop Farm Management Group (MFMG) has 320 members across the high and medium rainfall zones of the South East region of South Australia. Predominantly cropping and livestock producers, they produce over half of SA’s red meat (beef & lamb) and 300,000t grain (mainly canola, barley, oats, faba beans, red wheat, lucerne seed). Operating for 20 years, MFMG has extensive experience in delivering agricultural demonstration sites and communication activities, including providing extension support to many agricultural research projects in cooperation with Australia’s leading research agencies.
