Soil Pitt Workshop

The Northern and Yorke Landscape Board is hosting a “Soil Pit Workshop” to understand your soils and how to interpret soil tests.

You will have the opportunity to visit two separate sites one on Whim Road at 1.30pm, then followed by a pit prepared on Dust Bowl Road. These sites were opened and analysed back in 2013.

This half-day event will be presented by Andrew Harding, Senior Soil Consultant from PIRSA – SARDI, where he will take a deeper look at soils, understand what’s underneath the surface and learn how to get the most out of them.
