GRDC Partnership Elevates Grower Group Award to $10,000

South Australian grower groups are encouraged to showcase their achievements and be recognised for the impact they are making across agriculture, with applications now open for the 2026 GRDC Grower Group Award.

Presented as part of the Ag Excellence Forum & Awards, the award celebrates the innovation, leadership, collaboration and practical outcomes delivered by grower groups for their members, industry and regional communities.

Thanks to the support of new Award Sponsor GRDC, the award now offers $10,000 in prize funding, providing greater recognition of the vital role grower groups play in driving research adoption, knowledge sharing and on-farm innovation.

Applications are encouraged from grower groups of all sizes and interests. Applicants are invited to demonstrate how their activities, projects or initiatives have delivered positive outcomes for members and contributed to the advancement of South Australian agriculture.

In 2026, particular consideration will be given to activities that align with the Forum theme, Transforming Ag | Technology Shaping How We Grow, highlighting the ways grower groups are helping producers evaluate, adopt and apply technology to improve farming systems and business performance.

The application process begins with an Expression of Interest, with shortlisted applicants invited to participate in a telephone interview with the judging panel.
