2 weeks to go: Apply for the SA Livestock Sustainable Solutions Program – Producer Groups
Section Heading
With just two weeks remaining, applications are still open for the SA Livestock Sustainable Solutions Program – Producer Groups initiative, closing on Friday, 17 April 2026.
This program supports sheep, wool and beef producer groups to work together on practical, best-practice approaches to managing on-farm emissions, while maintaining a strong focus on productivity, efficiency and profitability. It is designed to build on the work many groups are already doing — or planning to do — at a local level.
Up to $20,000 in funding is available to support peer learning, hands-on extension activities and tailored guidance suited to your group’s needs.
What’s involved
Participating producer groups will have the opportunity to:
- Complete an on-farm emissions baseline using existing tools
- Explore and trial sustainable mitigation strategies
- Monitor emission profiles to support informed business decisions
- Implement practice changes and develop an on-farm action plan
- Learn from industry experts and apply technology to improve efficiency and profitability
- Participate in program field days and events
Who should apply
Applications are open to both existing and new producer groups across South Australian rainfall zones. Groups of 10 or more producers are preferred, however all group sizes are encouraged to apply.
