Building Drought Resilience Across South Australia – SA Drought Hub – Year 4 Achievements (2024–25)
The South Australian Drought Resilience Adoption and Innovation Hub (SA Drought Hub) is proud to release its Year 4 Achievements Summary (1 July 2024 – 30 June 2025), alongside the 2024/25 SA Drought Hub Annual Report.
Together, these reports highlight the growing impact of Hub investments in strengthening drought resilience, preparedness and practice change across South Australia.
Throughout Year 4, the Hub sharpened its focus on practical, on-ground delivery and strong collaboration—ensuring drought resilience knowledge was not only accessible, but genuinely useful for producers and regional communities, particularly through a series of dry and challenging seasons.
A major strength continued to be the Hub’s role in building and sustaining trusted networks between producers, advisers, researchers and industry. These relationships underpin confident decision-making and real, lasting change across a wide range of farming systems.
Looking ahead, the Hub maintained a strong focus on continuous improvement and future planning. In late 2025, the team came together to confirm shared priorities and strengthen alignment across activities through to 2026/27—reinforcing a commitment to regionally tailored extension and adoption that supports long-term drought preparedness.
As we move into 2026, this is a timely opportunity to reflect on the achievements, partnerships and collective effort that continue to strengthen drought resilience across South Australia. Partners and stakeholders are invited to explore the Year 4 Achievements Summary and the 2024/25 Annual Report.
