AIA SA Division March meeting

With support from “End Food Waste Australia” Dr Steven Lapidge will present on the last five years of dedication and progress towards Australia’s goal of halving food waste by 2030 (in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 12.3).
Dr Lapidge is the inaugural CEO of the Fight Food Waste Cooperative Research Centre (CRC), 2018-23, and now EFWA (CRC), 2024 – 2029. He has spent much of his 20-year career working for or with agribusiness CRCs, with a strong focus on New Product Development and commercialisation. Steve has represented Australia at G20, OECD, and national food waste forums. He is a member of the National Food Waste Strategy Steering Committee and a Non-Executive Director of the Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology.
Also, this event will be the launch of the 2024 Student Compendium with a fresh crop of interns presenting on the new & up to date resource.
Supper will be provided from 8.30 pm at the event, and drinks will be able to be purchased at their own cost.
