THE RIVERLAND AND MALLEE MESONET – Karoonda Football Clubrooms
The Riverland and Mallee Mesonet Project is a state-of-the-art network of 30 weather stations designed to help reduce and prevent loss caused by spray drift.
The towers are the missing piece of the puzzle when it comes to minimising damage caused by inversions and wind.
They provide highly accurate and precise weather observations, giving spray applicators the power to make informed decisions of when it is okay to spray.
Information from these towers is FREE to access on your smart phone, tablet or computer. Explore the data here: https://bit.ly/3qcpNWc
We are running multiple workshops across SA in February. Learn more about them here: https://msfp.org.au/events/
This project is led by the Ag Ex Alliance with funding from PIRSA’s Regional Growth Fund.
