De-carbonising the Grains Industry

7 June 2023 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Join the SA Drought Hub for an enjoyable evening of networking and knowledge at the Rising Sun Hotel, Auburn for dinner on us.

Our changing climate has increased pressure on the agriculture industry to become more environmentally sustainable.

Hear from:

  • Emma McInerney (Northern and Yorke Landscape Board and AgExcellence Alliance) about how producers can benchmark and reduce the carbon footprint of their operations while building their ability to manage their farms through periods of drought; and
  • Adrian McCabe (Chair, Grain Producers SA and a farmer at Hamley Bridge) discusses the work he has done on his farm and the wider implications for grain producers in SA.

Dinner is provided with drinks available for purchase.

The hub is hosting this event as part of the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund Science to Practice Forum.

This program received funding from the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund.
